Let me introduce myself, my name is Joy and I am the lady behind the lens. Joyous Creations Photography has always been a dream of mine. My love for photography started when I was very young. I found all pictures intriguing, and loved to look through my grandparents’ albums when I was younger. I love the story behind the actual image, and still find that true today.

My career gives me the flexibility to be home to raise my 3 kids, and help manage our beef farm. I have always considered myself a hard worker, and determined to get things done. I love bringing creative ideas to my shoot, and implementing the ideas clients have. I believe you can never have too many friends, and consider everyone I meet as an opportunity to a new friendship.

In my free time I love to scrapbook, cheer on my kids in their actives, and play board games and puzzles. Many times, you will catch me with a camera in my hand no matter where I am, or what I am doing.

I have been taking pictures professionally since 2009. When clients ask what photo shoot I like the best, it’s always the same. I LOVE THEM ALL! Every photo session offers something different, and every session is created customized to the clients wants and needs. I pride myself in offering a customized session to the client. At the end of the day my goal is to have prints you would love to hang on your wall, and share with friends and family.

I specialize in all your photography needs from newborn, family, senior, and weddings. I might come from a small town but, I am willing to travel to where I am requested. I look forward to discussing packages, and helping you capture these special memories.
